All About Lindler’s Construction

Dedicated to safety and to building lasting relationships with our clients, our commitment is and always has been to finish projects safely, on time and within budget while exceeding our clients’ expectations. Eighty-five percent of our operation is repeat business from clients who have come to know Lindler’s Construction of South Carolina as a highly trusted contractor.

Business Inception

After 5 years in the landscaping business, G. Oneal Lindler III purchased his first excavator at the age of 21 with the dream of becoming an earthwork contractor. On June 29th, 2005, G. Oneal Lindler III incorporated Lindler’s Construction of South Carolina, LLC in the State of South Carolina. With hard work & dedication, Oneal grew his fleet of equipment one machine at a time. Heather H. Lindler officially joined the company the end of 2005. Lindler’s first major project was being a subcontractor for United Contractors on the US 521 bypass in North Augusta which lasted a few years.

Operations Plan

Oneal was able to gain experience working as a subcontractor on heavy highway projects with much of his knowledge being self-taught. Oneal has a strong knowledge of reading plans and building projects the most efficient way possible. Heather began learning the accounting and estimating side of construction. She began to format our software and tailor it to Lindler’s with the goal of predicting our job cost. Before, during and after each project a job cost was recorded and adjustments made for the next projects. This allows Lindler’s to be more precise and competitive.  With the goal of becoming a prime contractor, on March 15th, 2011 Heather H. Lindler received her SC General Contractors License in Grading, Asphalt Paving, Concrete, Concrete Paving, & Water & Sewer. In 2023, Heather added Bridges to Lindler’s license. After 7 years with the company, on July 2nd, 2013 Heather H. Lindler became 51% Owner of Organization alongside G. Oneal Lindler III. After many years managing the company, on January 7th, 2016, Lindler’s Construction of SC became a SC Disadvantaged Woman Owned Business Enterprise thru SCDOT.
